Our instructors are Coaches through the National Coach Certification Program (NCCP) and are PowerSkate certified.
Phelan Simpson
Phelan has over 10 years of skating experience in both figure and power skating. Having the unique ability to teach both figure skating and hockey skills, Phelan provides his skaters with the knowledge of advanced edges and edge skills that are commonly used in hockey.
He has been teaching power skating lessons for 4 years, and is a PowerSkate certified coach that works with a range of ages and skills from House League to AAA. In his sessions, Phelan helps skaters focus on skating drills at full speed to help yield fast results. He also teaches power skating for Twin City Hockey Skating School.
Program Assistants
Program Assistants (PAs) are individuals who have adequate skating skills to assist our Coaches in the delivery of our power skating programs. They provide additional motivation, enthusiasm, fun and support to participants! Our Program Assistants can be identified by their black NHP Sweaters.
